You can reference Microsoft solution  but out fix seem more straight forward and simply..

Fix:

Remove the workstation from the domain controller by removing it from the active directory list

change the workgroup back to a local group such as “workgroup”

Reboot the system

sign in and rejoin the domain controller , then reboot once more.  *you will need admin rights on the controller to add the workstation back in”
