To accomplish this you must create a Virtual Directory under the default website. Name the virtual directory iishelp and map it to C:\WINDOWS\Help\iisHelp
you may also want to make sure debugging is enabled. right click the default website in IIS and click properties , click home directory. proceed and click configuration on the bottom. click the debugging tab. enable server side and client side errors .
Then you right click on the virtual site that should show the error’s . click properties
click custom errors
scroll down to 500-100.asp and click edit . select url , int he url field type /iishelp/common/500-100.asp
you must also enable show friendly errors within your browser
