Domain controller: workstation unable to view login prompt

If you are attempting to access a network share and receive access denied without getting a login prompt. You will need to enable “Send LM & NTLM responses” within the Local Security Policy(LSP) .
open Control Panel\System and Security\Administrative Tools\local security policy
drill down to local policies > security options > network security Lan manager authentication level > double click this option and select “Send LM & NTLM responses”
