SQL – error using DTS – [SQL-DMO]CreateFile error

DTS Type should be copy objects and select next
on the next screen where it says script fle directory. your local pc user must have write permissions to this folder. if you do not you will need to change this to a local folder that your user has write permissions to.
you will get the following error
[SQL-DMO]CreateFile error on
You will at first see a generic error stating ” failed to copy objects from microsoft server to microsoft server”
click the “ok” button and double click on “error occurred”
This will show you the actual error message .
i will recommend creating a local temp folder under c:\tmp and change the script path to this location. The transfer will proceed successfully.
